Our many strategic initiatives for the future position Standard Forwarding to be stronger than ever in the LTL marketplace. Coming off growth of 25% last year; we are adding new trucks and trailers as well as on board technology early in 2012. We are always upgrading our e-commerce tools to better meet our customer's needs and this year will be even more exciting with the rollout of our new TMS offering.
Standard Forwarding started trucking back in 1934 as a dedicated carrier. In the mid 90's we made the successful transition to a diversified Midwest Regional LTL carrier and that success continues today. We recently expanded our service area, adding Lower Michigan to our overnight region and a new seamless service to Alaska.
We now have access to even greater resources to provide stability and support our future growth. Our success has come from listening to our customers and matching our service to their needs. Our fleet of 300 tractors and 700 trailers is operated by one of the safest team's in the industry. We continue to provide over 99% on time, overnight service to our direct points and an industry low claims ratio. We are "setting the standard" in total transportation services:
