Atlantic Container Line has been carrying containers, project and oversized cargo, heavy equipment and vehicles between North America and Europe since 1967. With 4 weekly container services, ACL has direct calls at 16 ports and one weekly roll-on roll-off service. ACL is a Grimaldi Group Company of Naples, Italy. The ACL Roll-on/Roll-off (RORO)/Containerships are the largest vessels of their kind in the world. Containers are secured under-deck in cells and above-deck in our unique cell guides--providing more security than virtually any other carrier can provide. Oversized cargo, breakbulk and vehicles are towed or driven directly onboard and parked securely in one of our eight garage decks. Integrating ocean, road, rail and feeder combinations, ACL provides door-to-door cargo pick-up and delivery for both containers and oversized cargo--the only transatlantic carrier able to offer this service for both types of cargo.
With our own network of customer service centers in North America and Europe, ACL transport professionals evaluate complex logistical challenges and find the optimal solutions. Time is valuable so we have designed ATLAS, a state-of-the-art computer system and software program to provide instant access to every aspect of a customer's shipment. Our small organization enables quick decision-making that is impossible in larger corporations.
