Hyster expanded its lineup of configurable, high-capacity electric forklifts. The Hyster J230-400XD series offers load capacities from 23,000 to 40,000 pounds and 24-, 36-, or 48-inch load centers.

• Designed for container tracking, the Viking Hybrid device from Beontag can monitor containers moving beyond a company’s RFID infrastructure with BLE-enabled real-time tracking. With a non-replaceable coin cell battery lasting more than 10 years, the device enables end-to-end supply chain visibility.
• BELL-MARK’s latest printer, the InteliJet LPc, lets companies save on labels by printing directly on cases or boxes. Providing 1,200-DPI print quality and fast print speeds, the printer features an integrated ink system.
• Reelables’ latest smart shipping label lets companies trace each perishable shipment through the supply chain. The new 5G Cellular Label measures temperature with pharma-grade accuracy and transmits data to an app or the user management system.
• Steele Solutions, a manufacturer of work platforms, introduced SteeleTrax, a framing member designed to optimize vertical space utilization in warehouse and distribution center operations.
↑ The new Double Reach Shuttle from Murata Machinery USA is an automated storage and retrieval system engineered for high-density storage and small-product handling. It integrates a narrow shuttle vehicle with a double-reach transfer mechanism, allowing it to retrieve and transport loads stored at greater depths within a compact footprint.
Transportation
• Gebrüder Weiss launched transport services in Poland to include national and international partial and full loads (LTL and FTL). Companies can use the myGW customer portal to track their shipments in real time and have all documents available in digital form.
• Sterling Transportation now offers a weekly direct over-the-road service between Los Angeles (LAX) and Newark (EWR). With Friday departures and Monday arrivals, the LAX-EWR-LAX route provides secure handling of bonded cargo.
• To optimize its intra-Asia service network, Yang Ming extended its Japan (Kansai) – Taiwan – South China route (Japan Kansai Express, JKX) by including Haiphong, Vietnam. The enhanced JKX service offers a 21-day round voyage with a fixed weekly sailing schedule calling on: Osaka, Kobe, Keelung, Kaohsiung, Nansha, Shekou, Haiphong, and Hong Kong.
• Rhenus Logistics expanded its cross-border solutions to help businesses streamline imports and exports between the United States, Mexico, and Canada. With northbound and southbound trucking options, the Rhenus Beyond Borders offering moves goods through the CTPAT-validated company’s FTL and LTL services, providing customs clearance and documentation support.
• CMA CGM strengthened its intra-regional maritime network in the Indian subcontinent and Middle East region. It extended its BIGEX network, which provides direct links between India, the Gulf, and the Red Sea, with the new BIGEX 3 (from India to the Red Sea) and BIGEX 4 (from India to Saudi Arabia and Iraq). The new weekly services provide competitive transit times as well as reefer plug capacity.
Technology
↑ Ceiling-mounted versions of Shibaura Machine’s THE SCARA robots are now available to help companies maximize floor space in their facilities. Ideal for pick-and-place tasks, materials handling, assembly, and inspection processes, the robots’ new ceiling-mounted configurations help to reduce obstructions and improve worker safety.
• Shiplify launched its self-service product, designed for shippers looking to optimize their less-than-truckload (LTL) processes. Shippers get access to the same detailed location data used by most LTL carriers. The self-service solution simplifies LTL shipping with features like location data for dock and forklift identification, location types, and lumper details.
• Mecalux Software Solutions integrated generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) into its Easy WMS warehouse management system to provide natural responses to information requests. Users of this solution can now interact with the system via chat. Mimicking human interaction, it interprets and answers complex questions in seven languages.
• Supply chain visibility platform project44 announced six new product capabilities, including three new AI features. Automating resource-intensive supply chain tasks, the new capabilities within the Movement platform include: MO, the AI Supply Chain Assistant; AI Disruption Navigator; AI Data Quality Agents, which autonomously resolve visibility gaps; Freight Procurement Analytics; Returns Visibility; and Task Management, which accelerates exception identification and resolution.
↑ Anacostia Rail Holdings (ARH) adopted RailPulse rail car telematics to enhance service levels, visibility, safety, and efficiency for shippers. Anacostia’s Chicago South Shore and South Bend Railroad (CSS) subsidiary is the first ARH railroad to install the telematics units supported by the RailPulse open-architecture railcar platform on 100 recently delivered rail cars.

↑ LTL transportation services provider Dayton Freight Lines opened a new service center in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Located off Route 431, the facility features 25 doors and introduces Dayton Freight’s first-ever one-sided dock.
• 3PL ITF Group expanded its drop trailer solutions to streamline cross-border operations. Designed for industries like apparel, retail, and consumer goods, the service organizes trailer pools of two to 12 trailers within 48 hours—scaling to 20 trailers with additional notice—to enable clients to pre-load trailers at their facilities and eliminate the need for transloading.
• Warp, a provider of tech-enabled middle mile logistics, launched FlowSkip—a new freight solution that combines B2B and D2C shipments through a shared cross-dock and truck network. Instead of separating store, wholesale, and consumer deliveries like traditional networks, FlowSkip consolidates all outbound freight at the cross-dock—reducing the number of sortation centers and minimizing empty miles.
• Jitsu, a last-mile delivery provider, expanded into six cities in the Midwest: St. Louis, Missouri; Indianapolis, Indiana; Cincinnati, Ohio; Columbus, Ohio; Cleveland, Ohio; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
