INVESTMENTS

• Warp, the tech-powered middle-mile logistics company, announced a $10 million Series A round led by Up.Partners and Blue Bear Capital. The new capital will fund the expansion of Warp’s AI systems and the launch of its first fully robotic cross-dock.

• Pallet, the company behind CoPallet, the AI workforce for logistics, announced a $27 million Series B round led by General Catalyst, with continued support from Bain Capital Ventures, Activant Capital, and Bessemer Venture Partners, bringing total funding raised to $50 million.

GOOD WORKS

↑ Carrier Global Corporation renewed its support for Feeding America with a $150,000 donation to benefit national hunger relief initiatives, as well as network food banks near Carrier facilities. Carrier employees also volunteer to help local food banks sort, pack, and prepare donated food.

• Through its longstanding partnership with nonprofit Spectrum Works, MTS Logistics provides autistic young adults with job training, real-world work experience, and a pathway to permanent employment. It supports that mission with the MTS Bike Tour for Autism Acceptance.

↑ Global transport and logistics company DSV expanded its strategic partnership with UNICEF, enabling additional in-kind flights during emergencies.

→ DHL named Dayton Freight Lines its Regional LTL Carrier of the Year for superior performance in invoice accuracy, on-time service, EDI compliance and ease of doing business.

← Charlene Riley was selected to receive the 2025 Captain of Industry Award from the NY/NJ Foreign Freight Forwarders & Brokers Association. • CMA CGM launched the first fully electric container barge in Vietnam, supported by the construction of a solar-powered charging station at the Cai Mep port, the country’s main container gateway near Ho Chi Minh City.

• Americold Realty Trust, which provides temperature-controlled logistics, real estate, and value-added services, broke ground in Port Saint John, New Brunswick, on its first import-export hub to be built in Canada. The new cold storage facility will leverage the maritime logistics capabilities of DP World and the rail logistics solutions of Canadian Pacific Kansas City.

→ As part of its global expansion strategy, Australian swimwear brand Kulani Kinis selected Barrett Distribution Centers as its exclusive 3PL partner for the United States.

↑ In a new joint venture, Wallenius Wilhelmsen and Bertel O. Steen, one of Norway’s largest vehicle importers and distributors, will develop and operate a tailor-made vehicle processing center at the Port of Drammen. Once completed, the modern purpose-built facility will have the capacity to process approximately 45,000 vehicles annually in one shift.

By leveraging the invent.ai profit-optimization platform, Five Below’s goal is to generate optimal inventory decisions at scale for millions of product-store combinations, resulting in improved inventory productivity.

↑ Evri and DHL eCommerce will merge and rebrand as Evri Premium–a network of DHL eCommerce. It will remain a dedicated and secure, separate network that will offer fast, time-sensitive deliveries for high-value and large items for B2B and B2C parcel services.

• Fleetworthy, a technology suite for fleet safety, compliance, and efficiency, acquired Haul, a provider of AI-powered compliance and safety automation technology.

• Third-party logistics brokerage Montway Auto Transport purchased luxury vehicle transport company Angels Moving Autos.

• Mullen Group acquired the Cole Group, a logistics services company that specializes in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, and trade consulting and operates throughout the United States and Canada.

↑ KAG Canada acquired Fisher Transport, a Nova Scotia-based company specializing in liquid bulk transportation and the largest milk transporter in Atlantic Canada.

↑ Hitting a key milestone in its fleet electrification strategy, Purolator’s fleet of Motiv electric trucks has driven a collective 627,000 miles.

↑ CSX recorded its lowest process dwell time since October 2023. In May 2025, dwell time dropped to 20.01 hours, beating the 2024 average and previous best from January.
