INVESTMENTS
$ Loadar has raised a $4 million seed funding round, led by Frontline Ventures with follow-on participation from existing investor Techstart Ventures. The company will use the funds to grow headcount and expand to the United States.
$ Cofactr, a supply chain and logistics management platform for critical hardware manufacturers, closed its $17.2 million Series A funding round. The raise was led by Bain Capital, and joined by existing seed investors Y Combinator, Floating Point Ventures, Broom and DNX. The new investment brings Cofactr’s total funding to $28.8 million.
$ Embotech, which provides autonomous driving solutions for industrial logistics, has received approximately $27 million in Series B funding to help scale its automated vehicle marshaling and autonomous terminal tractor solutions in Europe, and ultimately in the United States, Middle East, and Asia.
$ RJW Logistics Group received a strategic investment from private equity firm Berkshire Partners that will enable it to drive future innovations and expand its geographic reach.
GREEN SEEDS
↑ Schneider National’s battery electric vehicle fleet has surpassed six million zero emission miles, highlighting the company’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions and advancing cleaner transportation.
↑ CEVA Logistics launched a new sub-brand to unify and further develop its sustainable logistics solutions—CEVA FORPLANET. This new suite of logistics solutions enables shippers to reduce the environmental impact of their supply chains by leveraging a range of low-carbon transport and circular economy solutions.
↑ Lufthansa Cargo and Maersk signed an agreement to promote the decarbonization of air freight through the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel. The companies expect to reduce CO2 emissions by at least 1,200 metric tons.
• CMA CGM will build and operate a new zero emissions inland transport solution in Vietnam: a 100% green electricity barge coupled with dedicated charging infrastructures supplied by a new solar farm at Gemalink terminal in Cai Mep.
↑ Saia LTL Freight has partnered with Tesla to introduce two of the company’s first Tesla semi trucks to its fleet. The Tesla Semi achieved 1.73 kWh per mile during a recent demonstration.
GOOD WORKS
↑ SC Ports donated $25,000 in support of the Lowcountry Food Bank’s efforts to help feed those in need during the past holiday season. The food bank and its partner agencies feed more than 200,000 Lowcountry residents each year.
↑ Carrier is addressing hunger and food waste globally by supporting food banks in its local communities. The company provided nearly $300,000 to hunger relief organizations around the world, with an additional $60,000 donation from Carrier-affiliated dealers and distributors.
↑ Arvato is a new partner and supporter of the Bernheim Forest and Arboretum, a 16,000-acre forest and nature preserve in Clermont, Kentucky.
← Employees of Transervice Logistics broke their own in-house record, donating books, CDs, DVDs and magazines to Book Fairies, the largest nonprofit book donation organization in the Tri-State area. The materials are redistributed to under-resourced communities on Long Island and the five boroughs of New York City lacking equal access to books.
• Redwood Logistics’ annual Redwood Games raised $300,000 across 15 local and international causes. With 800+ supporters, the 2024 event surpassed fundraising goals and achieved a record-breaking company milestone.

→ FIFA selected Rock-it Cargo, a global critical logistics company, to be the official logistics provider of the FIFA World Cup 26. Rock-it Cargo will provide multi-year planning, management and event-logistics services as the FIFA World Cup expands to 48 teams and 104 matches across three countries and 16 host cities in 2026.
← TWINSET, a high-end Italian fashion brand, has selected the TrusTrace platform to help identify suppliers, support eco-design initiatives, and measure each product’s environmental impact.
→ Tata Consumer Products Limited, a fast-moving consumer goods company, chose Arkieva to optimize and manage its tea blending and associated raw materials procurement process.
↑ Online furniture retailer vente-unique.com has partnered with Dexory, a robotics and data intelligence company, to enhance its warehouse operations by integrating Dexory’s autonomous robots and DexoryView platform.

↑ Weber Logistics is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The company was first formed in 1924, when five people invested $100 each to create the Jennings-Nibley Warehouse Company.
• LogiNext, an AI platform for logistics and supply chain companies, has successfully completed one billion deliveries worldwide.
M&A
↑ The Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) acquired XBL Holdings, including its subsidiaries Xcel Bulk Logistics and XBL Industrial Materials. XBL is a dry bulk transporter providing transportation, storage, and logistics services to industrial and construction companies.
↑ Schneider National entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Cowan Systems, a dedicated contract carrier with a portfolio of complementary services including brokerage, drayage, and warehousing.
↑ The Dupuy Group acquired the business and assets of Eland Logistics, which operates a warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario, to provide regional coffee roasters and their suppliers with storage, logistics, and Canada-U.S. customs brokerage services.
• Arvato purchased ATC Computer Transport & Logistics, an Irish company that provides specialized transport, logistics, and technical services for hyperscale data center operators, high-tech freight forwarders, and original equipment manufacturers.
• Mullen Group acquired Pacific Northwest Investments, including its subsidiary Pacific Northwest Moving (Yukon) Limited.
• DAT Freight & Analytics acquired the operations of Trucker Tools, a load visibility, automated booking, digital freight matching, and carrier engagement company for commercial trucking. The acquisition expands DAT’s ability to provide real-time GPS tracking and load optimization on the DAT One platform.
• Cart.com acquired OceanX, the wholly owned fulfillment operations arm of Guthy-Renker. The acquisition expands Cart.com’s tech-enabled capabilities to support high-volume beauty, wellness, and lifestyle brands.
• Canada Cartage signed an agreement to acquire Coastal Pacific Xpress, a temperature-sensitive carrier in western Canada.
